Baptism Classes:
Baptism Classes are being offered the first Sunday of each month from 10 AM - 10:45 AM.  The classes are for teh parents and godparents in anticipation of an impending birth THINK AHEAD and attend a class before your neew arrival makes his or her appearance.

Be a Doer that Acts,  Not a Listener that Forgets! The Book of James is full of pearls of  wisdom for wise living so that we can put our faith into action &  Saint  Patrick’s Bible Study will help us do that.   Our new study on the Book of James will begin Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2012 @ 7 p.m. in the Saint Xavier Center.  We will follow the same format as our previous Ascension Press studies have followed, but you do not have to have been a past participant to join us.
The Book of James is a collection of teachings on issues faced by ordinary Christians in everyday life & will help all of us who feel torn between the competing demands of this world & our faith to find answers. 
If you would like to take part, please contact Patti Adami or Lisa Linnebur this week to reserve a copy of the study set.  The cost is $22.00 per study set & the study will last 10 weeks. 

Dallas March for Life

Saturday January 21, 2012
Join Dallas Bishops Kevin J Farrell, Doug Deshotel and Mark Seitz, Ft. Worth Bishop Kevin W. Vann, diocesan clergy and thousands of people of faith to pray for an end to the scourge of abortion on our city and country, to witness publicly, and rally and march for a Culture of Life.

7:30AM - Bus will leave St. Patrick
10:00AM - Bilingual Roe Memorial Mass at the Cathedral Shrine of the Virgin of Guadalupe
12:00PM - Ecumenical Dallas March of Life fromt he Cathedral Plaza to the Earle Cabell Federal Courthouse where Roe v. Wade was first filed in 1970.  Here we will have a rally and prayers to overturn Roe v. Wade and for legal protection to be restored to our unborn brothers and sisters once again.
3:00PM - Bus will return to St. Patrick's

Our very own Lyle and Margie Klement, certified NFP instructors, will be offereing three classes:  Feburary 19, March 25 and April 22

Do you know where your favorite Chili recipe is?  Better go find it because the Second Annual St. Patrick Chili Cook-Off and Silent Auction is coming on January 29th at 12:00 noon!   We are also asking for help collecting Silent Auction items.

Knights of Columbus
Annual Rummage Sale
April 7th
The Knights of Columbs will be holding the annual Rummage Sale on Saturday, April 7 at the KC Hall.  They will be collecting sale items from April 2 - 6 from 9 AM to 3 PM at the KC Hall.  All sale proceeds are used to support the vairous KC projects including St. Patrick Youth activities and other community projects.  The sales will start promptly at 8 AM.
